Our commitments

Our convictions, associated with our working methods, can inform and fulfil the expectations of each player in the value chain, from the innovation phase to the analysis of your satisfaction.

"Giving a direction to your road, that is our responsibility." SAR has been labelled AFAQ 26000 since 18 March 2013.

Our safety and prevention approach is consolidated by the control of risks related to our products, to their production and their application: withdrawal of CMR substances (carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to reproduction) from our formulations and development of non-noxious and non-toxic products for users.

We are continuing to develop high-performance technical services through our dual expertise in products and materials, while ensuring that our product traceability is controlled and providing responsive and proactive management of risks of anomalies.

SAR's sustainable development policy comes within the overall plan for responsibility and performance of the VINCI Group, Eurovia and Signature branches.

SAR is convinced of the need to adopt a responsible attitude for sustainable production and consumption. This is why it undertakes to regularly review each process in its value chain, to reduce direct and indirect negative impacts of its activities: carbon balance and life-cycle analysis of all of its products.

SAR is involved in sustainable development on a daily basis and puts the eco-employee's charter into practice.

SAR is also the first and only manufacturer of marking products to have joined the PURE Association, which groups manufacturers of paints supporting the ECOCERT GREENLIFE standard and whose aim is to formulate and certify products of bio-sourced origin.

Lastly, SAR has partnered with PriceWaterhouseCoopers to establish a complete system for analysis of the life-cycle of its marking products according to the ISO 14044 standard. The aim is to be able to evaluate the environmental impact of a road marking product or service manufactured by SAR. An eco-profile is therefore available for each different certification of a particular product. Our assessments are brought to the m² of marking performed, so as to be able to compare the environmental impacts of the different technologies available in our range of marking products. All our results are given according to the weight per unit area used by the certification ASCQUER NF Road Equipment. Display the environmental assessment of our VEGA paint by clicking here !

SAR's policy is first directed towards a bilateral dialogue, respect for interests, equality of opportunities and fairness towards its employers, temporary workers and subcontractors.

SAR favours the socially and culturally-responsible location of its employees, regularly informing them of local and international issues, the aim being to strengthen their knowledge and proficiency in sustainable and local technologies.

SAR is labelled Evaluation  AFAQ 26000 - level confirmed since March 2016. The ISO 26000 standard is relative to the societal responsibility of companies, meaning that it defines how organisations can and should contribute to sustainable development. The results obtained by SAR show a real awareness of the issues in matters of societal responsibility and prove best practices, the sign of a certain maturity in the approach.
